NCERT SOLUTIONS FOR CLASS 12 MATHS CHAPTER 12 LINEAR PROGRAMMING:
Let’s know about L Kantorovich,
Basically L Kantorovich was a Soviet Mathematician and Economist. He was popularly known for the development of optimal allocation of resources. He is also known as the father of Linear Programming. In 1949 & 1971 he won the awards of Stalin Prize and Novel Memorial Price in Economic Science Respectively. He made the study of mathematics very simple with his concept of Linear Programming.
Actually he used to work for the Soviet Government in the Plywood factory. There he was hired for the purpose of Optimizing the production of Plywood and that was the turning point where he discovered the concept of Linear Programming. Although the original credit was not to him as the concept of linear programming was developed by George Dantzig, He took the concept and made it work for people for more easier and less consumption of time regarding calculation.
NCERT SOLUTIONS FOR CLASS 12 MATHS CHAPTER 12 LINEAR PROGRAMMING is all about the maximization and minimization of the profit/cost.This chapter includes most of the solutions in Graph paper so students are requested to have a habit of using graph paper for the practice of Linear Programming Either You are practicing them as Rough.
SOME IMPORTANT TERMINOLOGIES OF LINEAR PROGRAMMING
- Linear Programming Problem and its Mathematical Formulation
- Mathematical formulation of the problem
- Graphical method of solving linear programming problems
- Different Types of Linear Programming Problems
Briefing all the terminologies listed above,In this chapter formation and formulation of problem is mandatory before execution of any Questions. In Linear Programming solution needs to find the maximum or minimum value of a constraints and in order to find them mathematical formulation plays a role in such different nature problems.
As mentioned above most of the solutions are performed or solved in a graphical method so that the solutions looks simpler and easy to understand. This chapter will provide different types of linear programming problems with its unique mathematical formula for solving each of them. The types of Linear Programming are manufacturing problems, Diet problems, Allocation Problem, Transportation problems, etc.
